Partly cloudy here again but a touch warmer at 24C and with a rather unusually strong seabreeze for Autumn on the coast. Plenty of blue sky over there though while we sit in the shade.

Which is has up here in the N burbs, belted down with two good heavy showers, max rain rate of 153.6mm/hr. Today at 26.6mm, 29.4 total so far. Good head start.

Wow the winds have turned 90 degrees in just one day!! Yesterday the winds were SEly and then today they are NEly. That has just blown my mind. Has this phenomenon ever happened before?

Yes if it all lines up within the next week the low once formed up north of Darwin should push towards the north Kimberley coast and intensify . Long way atm but maybe good potential to make a strong low or even TC status if it holds together its

Raced to 10.8mm after a slow moving shower went through, only light green on Sellicks. Best to have some sort of radar than no radar at all I say.

Yes WL - next week looks quite promising now with reasonable agreement across the models. Don't reckon you'll find many 20+ days after this one.
