Looking very grim, soil bone dry, soon need to buy water to keep fruit trees & plants alive. This constant heat & no precip really stressing out plants. Looks like a 2mm January.

Eastern rangers now lit up like a Xmas tree!! Looks like most of those storms where dry ? Dosent look good hopefully they can round Them up before they cause trouble

Following on from Logansi ... currently 5 of those starts are 10-15km to me north. Others scattered through eastern half of the Alps.

The sea breeze seems weaker today. Yesterday afternoon was very windy here, but today is fairly calm, at least here. Hazy skies as well. Some convective cloud to the west, but I doubt any storms will reach the coast.

atleast 3 fires now from lightning in the eastern ranges, lightning continuing. Aircraft up. 4 Fires now, bombers, helitacks and reppel teams all airborne.

I've noticed over the last couple months that Terrey Hills always over reads the DP's when you compare it with the other nearby stations.
