Shes fired up a bit overnight and definitely tighten up nicely . Still got the steering influences not completely defined yet which will affect her location of landfall or if she will actually make it to the coast. Exciting times next few days .

Twin cyclones, one within the Gulf and the other heading to the Pilbara coast should make next week interesting. Hopefully a high pressure system wont ruin Adelaide's rain potential, but north SA and Central Australia may get some downfalls.

Looking forward to seeing Trevor get off the coast later today. Model consensus seems to be that it will become a very strong cyclone in the GOC before landfall.

Nothing wrong with that Learjet.Excellent work mate.

Appears the minimum pressure at Lockhart River was 975.2 hpa at 8:28pm last night. That appears somewhat lower than the minimum EC 12Z model run appeared to have been initialised with.

I believe a double edge sword has now been thrust into the models. Duel cyclones are now aligned to strike. TC Trevor has crossed the far North coast of Qld and a second cyclone will hit the Kimberley’s WA. as TC Veronica. We will need to wait a

Nice one Learjet, that gives you a feeling of the energy tied up in the young man. I was watching Weipa radar on and off as he crossed and it was impressive to see the clear eye completely wrapped in precipitation bands.

I did hear some "rain" about 1.30am but must've been about 30 seconds. Checked the gauge at 7am & all that was in it was grit & dead grass... 😐 Quite cool this morning at just on 26°C and 64% humidity.

Well, cleaning out the gutters didn’t work, it’s absolutely smashing it down here ATM and my sparkling clean gutters are just pouring over the rim. Loving it

Lighten up fellas. Slow moving system that was well defined and more predictable than most - a critical review of the situation will show that the BOM was not needing to issue hourly updates - which have the potential to create information overload.
