Looks like a classic light SSW stream tonight that often happens in the distant wake of a low. Clare Valley and probably the Melrose area should get a good amount of light showers and drizzle tonight. These can sometimes surprise with reasonable rain

The "upgrading" of the Canberra (Captains Flat) radar seems to be complete as of this morning (16 May), but the detail in the images seems very considerably worse (less detailed) than before. Does anyone have any information on this?
