• Discuss all aspects of tropical weather
• Follow developing tropical weather systems. Tropical cyclones (hurricanes or typhoons), thunderstorms, monsoon, gulf lines, easterly waves and so on
• For the purposes of this forum, tropical systems are those that develop between 23 deg south and 23 deg north. (This is roughly north of Rockhampton, Alice Springs and the Pilbara)
• Tropical cyclones that move out of the tropics may still be discussed in this forum
• Moderators reserve the right to move threads in or out of this forum for organisational purposes
• Threads may be split during severe weather events for organisational purposes
• Large threads may be closed and started afresh during very busy events to reduce server load
