This is probably my favourite pic at the moment, of the ruins of an old nursery in the Anstey Hill Conservation Park, next to Tea Tree Gully:

I like that one Rikki, the dark foreground weights the image to the bottom, nice lighting on the middle and shadow cast and textures, make for a image that you want to look at:)

Just a couple of photos from when I was down on the Southern Tablelands a few days ago, while I was on my first proper holiday in about 3 years, until it was cut abruptly short on Tuesday when passing through Sydney thanks to a naughty truck. Nattai National Park, near the sandstone tunnel on Wombeyan Caves Road, between Taralga and Mittagong (Saturday 2/7/11): Anzac Parade, taken from in front of the War Memorial (Sunday 3/7/11): Parliament House, Old Parliament House, Lake Burley Griffin, Anzac Parade and the War Memorial (from Mt Ainslie) (Sunday 3/7/11): Canberra City (from Mt Ainslie) (Sunday 3/7/11): Three wind turbines near Crookwell at sunset, taken from a viewing area along the Goulburn-Crookwell Rd (Monday 4/7/11):

Great capture there Big Pete, i dont think i ever seen a pod of pelicans like that before. Pelicans are not capable of sustained flapping flight, hence the reason why they loving catching thermals.
