I can't compete with the photos above but I like this one-  Probably the most impressive lightning I have even seen that day. I had numerous bolts come down within probably only a couple of hundred metres. These were big pulsing bolts as well, I could fell the vibrations though the car floor. Unfortunately, this photo was taken through a wet car window hence the blurred image.

I had a few up there on the lightning trigger thread, but these are probably mine: Last week: (No tripod!)  Earlier in the year from my house (reflection from shooting through the kitchen door)  Way too bright.  So I turned it down

We dont really get lightning here around Rockhampton, but I hope to see at least one storm this season to shoot

These are not my best shots but they were 2 of the more rememberable bolts I have captured for the mere fact they just about blew my eardrums out and knocked every ones socks off. Just the enormity of the 1st one is mind blowing, the amount of energy that was present is frightening.   Cheers Colin

some very spectacular bolts here!! here are my top 3  Closest (video still @ approx. 90m away) Best composition Closest possie at night hopefully some more crackers this season!!
