Marsh gets another game? Surely a pisstake. Will never be a test batsman.
Seems the Australian selectors are picking in form T20 players (Warner, and Marsh), not to mention Starc being on their radar. Oh and Clarke's mates ie; Bad Haddin.

Not quite sure you can say that... Warner & Marsh only played one T20 game before the test series started. Warner scored a century in the previous test vs NZ, and Marsh had excellent tour of Sri Lanka, scoring a century - before he got injured....... That's why they are in the team!

Talking about T20's, one is hoping that in a few weeks when the Australian T20 side is named, the selectors actually choose a side that is in form and not on past T20 and one-day glories...
Case in point - Cameron White.... cannot score a run and isn't even bowling in the Big Bash atm. Should not get a game even for his Melbourne side.... and yet, he's officially the Australian T20 captain.... if he gets picked - the selectors are a laughing stock.

Based on T20 form & ability, this really should be the side if it was picked today.

Travis Birt
David Warner
Rob Quiney
David Hussey
Mitch Marsh
Matthew Wade
James Faulkner
Sean Abbott
Xavier Doherty
Mitch Starc
Jason Krejza

Clint Mackay
Shaun Marsh

What about the guy who got the quickest BBL century? Luke Wright.

Thought about him, but apart from that one innings, he hasn't done anything else. If he continues the form through to the end of the Big Bash, then yer he prob would go in ahead of Quiney.

And yeah a valid point about White, hopefully he finds form before he plays the ODIs

Well he really shouldn't be in our one day side either..... and I can't see how he will be picked.

Don't think they'd be picking Wright considering he plays for England wink

Good side Tim, last year Dan Harris should have got a gig but has been poor this year. Birt MUST be included, is hitting them incredibly well, those 6's he hit the other night were some of the biggest I have ever seen. Clean out of the ground.

TS cool

I was very close to putting Coulter-Nile in the team instead of Mackay.... think I will now.... he's had a great few games and is now 3/6 off 2 overs....

Disgraceful performance from the the Indians today, looking totally undisciplined and all at see. Worst proponent was Zaheer Khan...it looked absolutely wretched and something out of a park cricket game. 161 all out. The big question: How will the aussies do against Khan and Yadav on a swinging wicket?

Lol at Luke Wright. He has played 46 ODIs for England, I have heard of him wink.
With a T20 average of 15.43 and only 6 wickets in 30 matches I doubt he would add much to our side anyway, haha.

Warner's innings was so good it was almost laughable, and then Cowan gloves it to the keeper and India miss out on a vital breakthrough purely thanks to their stubborn rejection of the DRS, hilarious.

It's almost like an episode of Fawlty Towers for India out there. I guess they always have the 'pitch party' excuse they can use. crazy

A very impressive knock indeed! Good temperament and polished stroke maker to all points of the ground. Yes he can slog, but I think his knock in Hobart re-affirmed to him that he belongs here. Just needs to know which balls to leave and focus more at "out of the hand", not off the deck.

India look defeatist which is a shame. Reputations will be tarnished if they lie down 4-0 after coping the same result in England.

Re. 20/20 and bowlers in general, have been impressed with Neser from Brisbane Heat. Nice upper strength and gets thru the crease well. Should be on the shortlist for the next World Cup squad, to be captained by Mitchell Marsh! poke

I'd be seriously worried if I was part of the Indian cricket team. They were whitewashed 4-0 in England last summer and now they are heading for another whitewash in this series. Australia are improving after a mediocre couple of years. I hate to say it, but the 2013 Ashes series will be a challenge for us if Australia continue to improve.

Here's something I posted a couple of weeks ago during the Sydney test match.

Did anyone place a bet on a whitewash? If so, I think I deserve a percentage of the winnings. laugh

Looks like the demolition is set to continue. Cowan batting very impressively. It would be hard to hold yourself in check with a freak goin off chops at the other end.

I've just about had enough of these pathetic batting collapses. Hussey and Clarke can be excused for obvious reasons. Marsh and Haddin have no place in this team I'm afraid. Haddin in particular is expendable garbage and in fact a total liability. How much longer do we have to suffer him being in the side?

Ponting has a few good innings which keeps his career alive, but overall he is well past it and needs to go. Harris is not match fit and has proven so far to be an inadequate replacement for Pattinson and long term Cummins will take his (Harris') place in the side. When Watson comes back that will be the last we see of Marsh and surely Wade has to come in for Haddin.

PS, If Warner doesn't go out early he is an absolute wrecking ball. Imagine Watson and Warner in full flight opening the batting....

Bit harsh on Harris, but mostly he's a filler for the injured players, way too injury prone to be a long time player sadly.
