Spring came a few days early for me with a magic sunrise followed by some afternoon storm cells on the mid north coast.

My Dad took this sunrise over our place in Albany a few days back. Got to 26.6 degrees that day, so guess it counts as spring. smile

Just repeating, this is not my photo. It was taken by my Dad.

cheers

Not sure if raindrops fit into Spring but here's 3 shots of my first experimental try of rain droplets on a window:

I'll second that Lindsay, That second shot is amazing Sandfly..I would hang it on my wall in a heartbeat.
I have been trying to pin a similar composed shot from Old bar beach as there are a few nice trees left over from the recent big swells, problem being upon each high tide they get smashed around due to being no beach left.. and just cant pin -the- shot..

Winter made a fleeting visit last weekend here on the New England:

This weekend will be an amazing contrast to last weekend, with sunny weather and temps in the mid 20s predicted across the region. I will have to look out for some photo opportunities over the next week or so.

Thanks very much for the thumbs-up! I used to be right into my photography during the 1990s with many published works in various fishing, camping and 4x4 magazines, but I lost my way with the introduction of the digital era. I am so glad I got back into it as it is something I really enjoy, and gain much pleasure from.

That sunset there is stunning SCHUMMY, love the reflection on the water and the silouetted boat. 9.5 out of 10, keep up the great work.

Another one to add. This one is an 180degree view from the bridge as you go over Mt Ida Creek, Central Victoria, on a brisk winters morning at sunrise.
