Finally got around to getting my photos all sorted. Here's one of my first sunsets taken on my new canon 550D. For some reason it appears low quality on here. You can get it at a higher quality on flickr (linked in my profile).

Wow some marvellous work of late, Leigh that beast is a ripper and those are some spectacular crawlers brad!!

Few of mine own from a recent chase down near Adelaide River, click for larger smile Btw the second one was a 1km away positive bolt that I edge framed. I also edged a 2nd one on the right side. Twasn't my night with CG's but crawlers sort of made up for it.

Great shots in here. Here's one from a recent long chase up to Mundubbera on Oct 26. This is just S of there.

Cheers,
Marty.

For those of you who don't venture into the SE QLD/ NE NSW thread, here's one taken from MBs house at Macleans Ridges on the 30th of October

Not sure what that artifact to the left of the bolt is caused by....maybe the pulse of the CG bouncing off the mirror.

Amazing shots here... especially the lightning (hoping Melbourne soon comes back into the firing line of specactular electrical storms - last one here was September 28)! Keep it up guys smile

Thought I would post a few shots from the Burra area of S.A. from the very early morning of the 9th.

Firstly a shot of a severe and organised thunderstorm dropping large hail. The cell was a good 50km away but the amount of lightning it was putting out was amazing, every second or so there was a flash.

Nicely structures clouds were around you can see the power of the windshear on the growing Cu

Only Cg i managed to capture, rest was mostly inbedded. Blew out like mad worst luck as I was trying to capture structure when it hit

Thankyou. I wasn't able to chase the real big beasts that formed today due to school but if you look in the SA thread there are some rippers

Here's probably the best structure photo I got from yesterday.
You can check out the others on the relevant SA thread.

You're not wrong Beck, some of the best photos I've seen!

Maybe I shouldn't have looked before I posted my little pics! But here goes... a couple of sunset shots from my holiday at 1770 and Agnes Water smile
