Love your pics Coolibah, they certainly capture the colours of the outback. That's another great shot SCHUMMY, I can usually recognise where your pics are taken from but not sure with this one.

An afternoon storm out at see with a rainbow and some mammatus under the anvil (these storms went on to produce A LOT of lightning in a nighttime light show, the sky hardly stayed dark!).


And just a photo of some altocumulus on one of the only sunny days we had.

Was a little storm offshore Ulladulla, that was very flashy but didn't produce much in the ways of Cg's.. still managed to catch one though!

Some top photos here. This is my first attempt at using photoshop. Lens distortion was corrected and photo was rotated about 1 degree to get the horizon straight. I am a total convert to shooting raw and processing images on the computer.

3 shots from today's chase to Charters Towers, probably one of the best gust fronts I have seen in Nth Qld. We recorded wind gust up to 78km/h, in the last shot you can see the dust being blown around from the storm.
