Hey everyone,
have been busy over the last few weeks and haven't been able to get a chance to get onto the forum.

Anyway, just looking at EC's charts for the next 10 days. It's showing some good rain and storms coming through next Wednesday and Thursday. Hopefully it's right.

Good to see you back PV. Firepac, Ree, do we have an idea of how many of us are going to attend our meet on Sunday? I don't want to over-cater, lol! Sorry you can't make it, Windblown. I'm sure there will be photos posted though! Also, if the weather doesn't co-operate, I'm happy to offer my place as an alternate venue. I'm not too far from the harbour.

Looks like another hot one, today.
Current temp 19.7

At the moment we have 6 confirmed, 3-4 possibles and hopefully a couple more may drop by to say G'day. So allow for around 12 or so.

Note everyone is welcome... please come down even for 30 mins if you possibly can.

Nice pics Roxy. You know you are teasing everyone smile Where is Oakenden?

The rain event still looks promising for next week... let hope it makes it!

Maybe meet you next time windblown, I sure we'll have another meet up in the Whitsunday next year.

Great pics roxy, that hail is big hope cars weren't parked outside. RR Oakenden is near Eton, between Eton and Homebush.

I have a little piglet that I am feeding (Mum stepped on her), she stays in a cage next to the house. This is what I found near her, my nerves are still shot:

Nice snake Ree - Looks like an eastern brown to me. I assume its dead, if so turn it over see if it has a single or divided anal scale thats the scale immediately below its vent, or take a photo of its bum.

I don't think it is a Taipan Daktia, Tai's have a more elongated head and a more pronounced neck., but that is why I asked Ree for the photo or the anal scale to make sure. EB's have a divided anal scale whilst Tai's are single.

Divided anal scale so its Eastern Brown NOT Taipan.
