Seems to be a fair bit of fresh activity, which means it might just keep going and going...in which case Adelaide will def. get something. Otherwise it'll run out of steam before it makes it smile

yeah I noticed very low Sc right in front of the line would be only a couple hundred metres off the ground so yeah your elevation would be enveloped in fog Thorpy, it pissed off quite quick once the storms were within earshot

Can confirm sparks to the SW, long long way aways! Southern beaches should be seeing something!

Lots of nice flashes down at the beach. Very pretty. The bolts are cloudy though so for those looking at photos, atm isn't the best.

Met a lovely trio of schoolies girls smile They were enjoying the show. Asked me what I was doing tonight and I told them chasin' storms on my pushy, they wanted to come along but told them they'd prob not keep up. I hate looking 17 frown high school girls are off limits and girls my age think I'm a child.

It FEELS ripe for storms out there. Might have to trade in the pushbike for a motor vehicle shortly.

Saw red lightening to the SW, probably behind a curtain of smoke from the Blewitt Springs fire!

Lots of the flashes I saw seemed to be tinted red as well. smile

It's blowing pretty hard on the beach. Got sand in my eyes/camera/pants.

Time to disconnect the HF Antenna and unplug unnecessary appliances - could be intense later tonight.

Temperature dropping: -2.1Degrees/Hour - 21.6 now.

TE - no further thunder or lightning seen. A bit quiet and spooky..lol.but would be a bit rugged on KI atm. I have active frogs, so something is in the air.
