Maximum of 24c here today, our equil warmest day of the year. Plenty of sunshine about which was nice to see. Should be plenty of storm activity about the ranges tomorrow. Could be a story of quantity over quality. A few of these may spill to the coast, but the shear is marginal.

Drove south to Mangoplah to intercept stormy/rainy situation. Too many trees to get a good view of the guster that you saw Duane, and when I did find a spot it was almost over my head. Returned to Wagga to heavier rain and minor flooding on the roads - I should have stayed put at home. 15mm so far. Looks like some more coming in from the WSW with the thicker cloud. There goes my eclipse viewing plans..

Very early start to convection here with a lovely congestus tower going up over the southern highlands. Too early for my liking. I have a child's birthday party at midday, that may not be so bad as it will get me away from chasing the early junk.

Nice pic but you really need to get those priorities right...LOL, beer and prawns are always there, storms are ephemeral.

at work but on my hour break. got a nice little storm incoming according to radar. im currently sitting out at the back dock watching it, hearing distant (getting closer now) rumbles. looks to me the best of it may slide to my north by a km or so. edit: the southern end just started to rain on me.. lightning getting closer...i could hear a plane above the cloud line too.. little prop thingy.

A very steamy 25 her atm. Nearly feels like I am at the coast as it is very humid. 16mm from last nights storm. Maybe another one this arvo?
Yep, warming up here too, and it is so humid. Got a very welcome little rain-storm (no thunder) in the early hours, and then another very wet one after sun-up. radar shows some more incoming just west of us although the ranges might get it. And lots of very feirce little storms hatching quickly to the west... very colourful on the radar.

Stuff SW of syd starting to fizzle out thank goodness, shouldn't be much out of this.. perhaps just get some dribs and drabs before the rain sets in Hard to see SYD not getting something out of this. The easterly coming around more to the NE now which can fuel these storms on occassion. I agree the coast and CBD as always is a question but the inner west for sure will get hit one would think.
