hey Hamalan. really great album it actually finishes some of the questions people have been asking. if you do the whole album like a motion picture in your mind you get a pretty good idea of what was happening. some really fantastic shots. and yeah tim marshal commented on your page that is pretty cool in its self
people think reed timmers is the guy.. tim marshal is mine .. i think he is cracking 15 years more experience than reed too
thanks for the comments EF5. I was actually lucky enough to meet, chase with and even had breakfast at Tim's house a few years back Tim's forcasting and chasing contributed to me seeing my first tornado near Hobart, Oklahoma in 2005.
Undeniable credentials Hamlan, we are lucky, lots of thanks for the effort you put in just to be there, let alone the very many hours spent later to ensure this day is forever etched in Vics history. Well done
Howdy everyone, I missed out on some dramatic weather back west while staying in Orbost at christmas. My brother and I waited all day for it. I tried taking photos with 2 DSLR's but didnt get any keepers. Kieron had the handycam. It was set to highspeed filming. I think it works out that the playback speed is 1/16 of normal speed.
Here are some of my wide angle panoramic stitches of the Melbourne supercell outbreak, i'll post more when I can. In all, I chased 6 supercells (of which at least one which was cyclic and tornadic) and observed many other severe storms on this day.
Awesome photos It really was a day to remember - one which will be etched into the memory bank Super-charged and endless photo opportunities. As well as many very hairy moments
