Look at the BOM forecast, went from 60 percent chance to 20 percent chance and storms mainly about the outer suburbs. And yes AT, it is rather fun to play with, although I mainly just use the storm potential.

Will it still get past 30C today? Today it is warming up real slow compared to yesterday, have not reached much past 20C yet.

Sun has managed to break through here in Sale which has lead to a noticeable jump in the temp and mugginess. Hoping to watch a few maturing Cu fields in close proximity to us this arvo.

Tommorow looks like a pretty stormy day, also bit offtopic but look at the charts for next monday, the red line is all the way up to Melbourne.

Hot and sweaty here all of a sudden (mowing lawns didnt help) - the sun came out just as I started the damned mower. When I put it away I noticed our obs are an amazing 24C with 66% RH (= 20 C dewpoint!)

Sunny and warm here as well as humid. I can't keep up with the changes on the charts. WZ keeps telling me to upgrade to Premium or some other thing, so I go by whatever I can see on here and BOM. Have no idea really what to expect. Yesterday around 4.30 I was sure with the clouds gathering we were in for something, but no. Then again I really don't want any of the "violent storms" someone mentioned on the previous page. Who wants the damage it usually brings ? I know the light show is fun but other than that no damage please.
As for the rainfall expected for the central area I have no idea really.

I can't see that chart Ant with the red line, only the Aus and Vic coloured ones with expected rainfall and that has been more green further east, unless it has changed again. Tommorow looks like a pretty stormy day, also bit offtopic but look at the charts for next monday, the red line is all the way up to Melbourne.

It's in the BOM 10 day charts Katyer, you don't need Silver to see it.

As bad as it sounds, for some of us, our income partially depends on the damage that hailstones inflict.

Thanks Ant. Yes I have seen that one. Look whats building out near Ballan, but it might pass us by. Off to Sunbury soon for Christmas dinner. It's in the BOM 10 day charts Katyer, you don't need Silver to see it.

looks like Melbourne will miss out AGAIN? Temp only 24C in the city and around 28C with a DP of 17C Here. Seabreeze is here now and will stay for the rest of the day which means no storms here.

Good to see massive cumulonimbus firing away to the north along the Great Dividing Range, but I wish the 'seabreeze convergence zone' would push further south and pull those humid northerlies into the Dandenong Ranges, really need a few cooling thunderstorms to take the bite out of the heat

I wouldn't use that too much Duck, if they were able to predict storms accurately, especially severe ones it'd be a lot easier, that's basically the forecast for if everything falls into place imo.

Not sure if anyone has seen this chart but here tis' BSCH Stormcast ....for Xmas day and either side of... This has got me excited... Can now hear distant rumbles to our north with the Baw Baw storm complex. There are some massive anvils over the ranges, might go for a drive for a look. Big tower now forming south of Traralgon after overcoming the weak seabreeze which we're still under. Dont think anything will come close to us here but might get a visual on a flash or two if lucky! Looking forward to what Petros reports from his round of golf as he is much closer to the Baw Baw storm than I.
