Paddocks round here have visibly suffered in the last five days. They are very dry. Thankfully the grass is short so not a real fire risk. 1.4mm for those showers yesterday.

10mm between 6am and 7am yesterday morning.
Another thunder day recorded, reaching all time best levels on one "storm season"!

So much for my "good arvo for golf" prediction made this morning... after a brief 2.25mm rain with the front, the following westerly increased to "howling" force for most of the afternoon.

I think you might be right Petros lol smile the NSW coastline faired way better than Northeast Victoria, but mostly from Sydney/Gosford north into Southeast Queensland; the Canberra/Batemans Bay/Ulladulla area had a couple of cells moving through at about 1-3PM, so then again Merimbula seemed no better off than Corryong poke

Bit of a trek but thinking the WA goldfields would be the place to be tomorrow. That system is amping up every afternoon at the moment. Wonder when it will run out.
