Oh well good time to get back into the garden and remove the weeds.

Air is much dryer today with 50% Humidity, the low taking most of the moisture offshore.

Weather station is up and running, looking forward to another 8 years of good service.

Well done Things. Seeing there's no rain, can you make some of that too? :-)
Happy New Year to all. May it bring some exciting weather events to chat and learn about.

Mate gonna have to get onto those HAARP people if you want some rain LOL love reading some of the crazy ideas they come up with wink

Looks like some tiny stream showers down near Innisfail, doubt they'll get us anything though.

At least the temp and humidity outside are reasonable to be out in.

Hahaha, well, if 2012 was meant to be the end, I think it's doing the opposite. The script to automatically update my forum signature died the other night, but it just magically fixed itself as it rolled over to 2012. Good sign I suppose grin

I'll take the first stab and say the 19th grin

Changed it to 50mm+ just to make it a bit more difficult, in case you wanted to change your date smile

MMMmmmmmmm 50+ confused I'll take a stab with the 27th Jan then. Before Friday it would of been today but I'm thinking we need all these trough's to bugger off before we get some decent weather now.

I usually print my blank next years Excel rainfall chart a few days before the end of the year,
but somehow I don't think there's any rush for the next week or so. Also, the US are having a snow drought.
It's been cold enough to make snow at a lot of resorts. Mammoth in california have used over 1.3 million gallons
in snow making !
