Sorry dont have a weather station, I just use WZ. Try Sir Boab or one of those guys in the Cardwell to Bowen thread, they all seem to have weather stations.

Few cells firing up to the south. Nothing for us, but still nice to see some sort of action on the radar

Got 0.5mm from a couple of unexpected sun showers this afternoon. Love the smell of rain wetting the dust after max 38.4 in the shade & 40 .2 on station in the sun.

Did anyone notice Emerald's forecast for today?

Central Highlands for Saturday Isolated afternoon showers, isolated thunderstorms south
of about Clermont. Light to moderate NE winds.

I'm happy with isolated thunderstorms, as long as they are isolated over Emerald wink

On the radar there is some cells building west of Willows, hopefully there will be further cells popping up and we all get some much needed rain for our crispy lawns.

Went to rocky for the night and there were some storms around Dingo yesterday, coming home this arvo all the table drains were full. My thermometer is reading 38 deg and it is in the shade on the eastern side of my house, so it's warm.
Hey kymm love your new profile pic, very nice!

Mine said 30 deg at 10am, and says 32 now at 11am. Gonna be a stinker I reckon. My husband is up in the roof, it's time for him to get out I feel.

wonder if mine was hotter because of its position? Its on the eastern side of the house, but in full shade. Just checked it again, and its a smidgen off 35C, probably be about 34.8 (its not digital)

Temp now 36, think it will go higher yet for the day. Kicking back on the bed watching tennis in the air con, this is the life., will switch over to the cycling at 2pm and will then proceed to channel hop for the arvo. Best part about real hot weather, a pretty good excuse to do nothing.

Ha, am the odd one out here, sitting here with just ceiling fan on the 1st setting and a nice breeze gently blowing through the window. 27.5 deg here in Yeppoon , has reached 28 deg today, yet again the forecast temp for today was incorrect. 29 deg wasn't reached with NE winds.

My weather station keeps saying it is cloudy , I have the thing that measures the temp outside in the patio where we sit outside.

Looks like good rains on Friday 13th.... or not ?
