not sure how why or who but my radar is up and running again. no imput from me, same phone and nothing altered my end, but it is all working just fine. Thanks Guys Noddy

I discovered that the browser feature which I use to render the range rings wasn't supported on Mobile Safari so I've disabled them for that browser which prevents the script error that used to occur.
