Big Jimmy was a credit to the human race. I guess he is needed somewhere else now.

I remember seeing a doco on the great man and his work with the underprivelidged and troubled youth of Melbourne. Simply inspiring.

He was a great footballer and will be forever remembered for so much more.

What an absolute disgrace by the AFL and the Crows with their dealing of Matt Rendell.
Now that the TRUE story has emerged, there should be a public apology by the Crows and by Demetriou.
As a Crows member I am disgusted. They were worried about the rep they would get from being associated with the comments, I think they should be more worried about the rep they will get over the way they dealt with it!!!

As a Dees fan I am truly shattered.. Watched him start is afl career at my club as a 9 Year old and followed him all the way. What an incredible inspirational man he was.

Well I would say so considering tomorrow is the start of round 1.

No - each game closes at the beginning of each game. So you can pick the remainder of the round next weekend when they are played.
