Some great totals around the place, turns out the GFS wasn't on any special pills, as I did actually receive just over 600mm this week, and noticed plenty of other places with similarly high totals (as were forecast).
Here's the breakdown from my pocket of the Tweed Valley:
23/1 M: 52mm 24/1 T: 71mm 25/1 W: 249mm 26/1 T: 5mm 27/1 F: 206mm 28/1: 17.5mm (from Sat. to 9am Sun 29/1)
=600.5mm

Total this event in the Promised Land / Glennifer, just outside Bellingen is now over 750mm - yep, 3/4 of metre of rain - explains the floods. Here is one of the Waterfall Way outside Bellingen: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=...pe=1&ref=nf
