The rain did ease to a drizzle around 9:30pm but has become steady rain in the past 20-30mins. There is the occasional strong gust of wind, though the wind is generally moderate to fresh. _________________________ South West Rocks (5m ASL), Mid North Coast: May Rainfall: 31.6mm (May Avg. 133.6mm) Year-to-date Rainfall: 765.4mm (Jan-May Avg. 804.0mm) Year-to-date Raindays: 68 (Jan-May Avg. 67.1 raindays)

Thanks so much BJ73 - that will be appreciated. Will check out the RTA site now. It's been raining moderately all day (20mm in the rain gauge at approx 6.30pm)so am hoping that the roads will be OK tomorrow further up the coast. Cheers, Thundakat.

I was surprised that the rain persisted through the entire night. It is currently overcast, calm and mild. I'm expecting a couple of light passing showers or some drizzle here today. Looking at the surf cams, there is some sun up the coast in Coffs and Sawtell so the cloud should start to break up here late this morning. 153.2mm here since about 3pm on Tuesday (31/1). _________________________ South West Rocks (5m ASL), Mid North Coast: May Rainfall: 31.6mm (May Avg. 133.6mm) Year-to-date Rainfall: 765.4mm (Jan-May Avg. 804.0mm) Year-to-date Raindays: 68 (Jan-May Avg. 67.1 raindays)
