Hi guys,

Not weather related so I hope it's ok to post this here. I thought it wouldn't hurt to spread the word. Missing girl - Maryborough area If anyone is out and about please keep a look out for Selina, also spread the word. Especially with more rain and possible storms on the way this afternoon.

Don't know how to edit posts would like to say Selina has been found safe and well.

Also was a bit disappointed that we missed out on the storm. A little bit of thunder and enough rain to flood the backyard in about 10 mins but nothing real exciting.

I am happy enough with my lack of storms.

We just missed last nights. We got 4ml and friends a bit away from us, 10k as the crow flies, got more than 2 inches.

We got 20 ml tonight with just a bit of wind and lightning further away.

I don't mind storms when they aren't doozies over the top of me. shocked

Had a fantastic night with around 4 storms in Sharon (Bundaberg area). We just caught the edge of two and had two sessions about 40 mins apart where we were in the middle. Awesome light show and loud booms and cracks from the thunder. Have not checked the rain gage but the garden was still flooded this morning. Found out our new dog is a big girl.

Manta, we had one go through here but mostly around us. Just got a little wind and rain.

That was followed by a second that did the same thing.

Ended up with 28mls last night.

I will be stocking up again in town this week. Shouldn't take too much more for our roads to start going under.

I see Splitters Creek Bundy/ Gin Gin Rd was on the rise this morning after the weekend rain. Thats what kept me out of town last year.

I have yet another storm. Reminds me of when I was a kid and you could just about count on a daily storm.

Absolutely pouring. Will post pics later.

That line exploded just after it passed over us here. We had a heavy shower but that was about it. Looks awesome in the sunset though.

Nice copy / paste job from the Bureau in their 4:20pm forecast too:

Forecast for the rest of Monday
Early rain areas easing to isolated showers and possible thunderstorms in the afternoon. Light to moderate NW to SW winds, tending fresh and gusty near the coast.

What's the point of including early rain areas in a 4:20pm forecast?

Great pix bundy!

Tonights storm was not as impressive but had some upper cloud lightning. I did not have my tripod so had to up the ISO which made for a dark photo.

instead of posting the URL in the address bar, right click on the image and select copy image address, or something similar....then that link is what you post between the [img][/img] tags. the url will end in a .jpg too smile

Schummy, I could go to the image. I tried both ways and neither time worked.

I am wondering if there is some sort of protection to the pics on the site they are loaded on.

I was playing and tried to load them to my photobucket and that wouldn't work either.

hmmmm....interesting, must be a red-bubble thing i guess, since it is a site where you can buy prints/photos from there must be some form of protection on all images. maybe try photobucket or something similar manta?

What a great afternoon of storms!!! Loved the hail and heavy rain here in Maryborough and a nice top up of 22mm in my gauge.
