OMG bundybear, that was a whole saga and a half, lucky you got a few supplies, I know that area. Some of the girls from my old job would be stuck and get cabin fever..........I am not confident to drive in a lot of water, I leave that to the husband. Once when we got stuck and had to back-track (2hour drive turned into 8hrs), he had to call into Rochdale pub and get me a 6pack, so I'd stop freaking out and stressing him out........glad it ended well for you.

I have come up with a new plan to avoid driving through there again. Next time I am loading the horses onto the float, drive them up to the school, unload them and ride them through it. Be less scary.

A couple of weeks back when I was in Emu Park it was terribly dry. So they would've welcomed yesterdays rainfall of 110mm. Except that total fell in one hour!

I see some people in the catchment areas here have got 2-3 inches today but I cant imagine that will worry you Emeraldites too much.

Comet river might be in trouble I am thinking though. That is my opinion not based on any facts, just looking at the creeks turn to rivers again today.

121.4 mm and the average is 123.5mm so just slightly below.

Last month 138mm and average is 131.4mm.

Haven't you noticed under my display name it's right there. Mulambin 10kms south of Yeppoon, half way between Yeppoon and Emu Park just off the Scenic Highway.

By the way those averages are for in town, not where I live, would guess it would be higher after that downpour yesterday.

Was just looking on BOM site and it said a place called Normanton in the Gulf Country has had dew points up to 32 deg (unless this is an error ?)
