I also have the same guage as you guys M66 & RR, will get Mr Wet-Ish to carry out modifications, thanks M66.

January has been a lovely month here with all tanks full and water to last for at least 6 months.

Rainfall into guage for January = 367.6 mm compared to 377.7mm measured by weather station. difference is probably an air bubble or overflow then.

Kicked off February with 6.5mm tipped out at 7am this morning.

currently sitting under a big grey cloud with some lovely towers looking N - NNW.

Its 30.9c 62% 1001.3hpa

Welcome to the forums Tornado Girl.

Just posted my January summary in the January thread if you're interested.

Had a nice shower this arvo for 9mm and a fresh cool breaze.

Welcome TG to the forum and a big welcome to February - definately my favourite month. My average rainfall at Mt Julain is 418mm and my maximum total 1102mm back in 2008. Minimum was 69.7mm in 2006. I predict (hope) 600mm+.

Hi Ree, I love taking photos of storms as well I was so dissapointed today, I went for a walk at town beach and seen a waterspout nearly extending down to the water, but i left the camera in the car and my mobile.

Heavy showers are falling again on the Whitsunday coast. By the looks of radar its going to a wet night ahead. Those Easterlys are feeding alot of mostuire onto the coast and its being enhanced by the close proxmity of the Conway Rangers.

Good morning all. Lovely to see Feb starting off with some of the wet stuff. 7.5mm from a bit of a shower yesterday round 5pm. Raining here now, I love waking up to rain! bounce So far, 16.1mm since midnight. Hope it rains all day, at the very least. Rain rate is currently around 50mm per hour. Barometer 1001.5, humidity 90% (?) Temp not too bad, sensor is still MIA.

Have a great day everybody grin

Welcome to the forums tornado girl.

The forecast certainly look more promising than i was expecting and the current radar seems to back it up.

20.6mm so far overnight from frequent showers, not a bad start to Feb...

Was woken up to some heavy rain rain last and this morning but did not expect to find 47mma in the gauge. Was very surprised. My pressure is also down to 1000 which is the lowest I have seen it all year. By the looks of the radar I think everyone should get some good rain before the day is out.
