Pity there isn't more windshear to go with it, these storms will choke themselves as the winds are so light there is nothing to take the outflow away otherwise they would most likely be much more severe.

Todays storms are also unlikely to clear the range as the steering winds are very light. Basically they will form and die with very little movement.

I hope so but it all seems to be centered south of the airport and not moving this way.

Random question: Let's say the cape was like 7000 and the LI was -8, What sort of storm activity could we expect given that other conditions were favourable?

Only 3.5mm out this way. Plenty of thunder and lightning around when I got home at 4. Can only hope for some more today but it doesn't look as good today as yesterday.
Some nice photos TG.

Sorry TG I missed seeing your weather shots last nite, just checked it out and thanks for sharing. I like the storm shots, but then again stormy weather is my favourite smile .

Just watched a nice shower build up Farleigh to Dumbleton, we had a few drops of rain and it cooled things for about 1/2hr.
