It's the wettest month here with 170.4mm (average), having a look at prev years it has been quite wet in Feb and March compared to prev months.

Welcome Isle of Gray.
Well recorded 154mm for January. It's looking very heavy out to the west this arvo. Been in the aircon doing book work all day and have not even looked at the weather all day, but there is def plenty of action on the radar this arvo, it just keeps wanting to rain in the catchment and long as it's small falls its ok, as this just keeps everything flowing. Just don't need anymore big falls.

Hey Lisa and everyone else, Try THIS ONE. You can also go back and view radar images from the past few years. smile

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think it was Ang that once lived out at Tieri (since moved to South Australia?), and was lucky/unlucky enough to go through the Tieri Storm of 2007. Anyway, I managed to stumble across some photos on the work computer of the storm and aftermath. (Not too sure who took the photos unfortunately) As you can see by the damage she was pretty wild! eek

Is it just me or is the river level at the dam and emerald rising more quickly? Not great with charts but, pretty sure, is that what it is saying?

I can't open the plots for the dam as my iPad won't let me. But could be higher inflows ATM, causing it to rise quicker. Don't think it's anything to be too concerned about. Might be easier to look at the sun water sight and see what percentage the dam is at and keep an eye on those levels too. Might give you an idea how quick the dam is rising.

I just had a quick look, and it looks as tho Nogoa is rising a little bit quicker now but I dont think its anything to worry about. By the looks of it, it took 12hrs to raise 4 metres to 5 metres (so 12hrs to raise 1 meter) whereas its taken 9 hours to raise from 5 metres to 6 metres. As Maclaw said, its probably due to higher inflows and I dont think its anything to be concerned with.

OMG!!! That was a scary 30 minutes. How are you all going? Adelaide is trying to have a summer this year. We have had a couple of storms but it mostly strays through the north west of the state. I see you have a big fat low heading your way again. Stay dry and safe.

34mm in Longreach overnight, and perhaps a bit more on the way to top up the gauges before 9am.
