I know this info is out of the AOR but it could have implications for this system.

Fiji met have indicated in their latest update that there is another Td (TD10) which lies between New cal and Fiji (roughly the same spot our current southerly robber developed). With the dry air looking like easing over the CS and if this thing intensifies, even though its forecast to move SE, could this have better or worse or no impact on our little friend off Cairns? Also, if TD07 goes extra tropical and bombs will this destroy "jasmine" from developing??

Actually I reckon it's a great name for a cyclone(picked it as the best cyclone for the season in the tropics comp). Unfortunately this thing is looking to be a very dissapointing cyclone if it is named. Definitlely won't do the name justice. Not fiesty enough.

I dunno - "Jasmine" seems a bit wishy washy to me just like this system. Wait till TC Mitchell hits (a few TC's to go yet). If it's anything like my son Mitchell we're in for a hell of a ride, lol.

Wishy washy she may be, but I will be a happy little camper even if it isn't able to blow the skin off a rice pudding!

Jasmine - you go girl!

Actually these days I shouldn't be so sexist, Jasmine could also be a boy's or lady boy's name.

Alright Jasmine - you go boy!

Early to mid March looks very active again at this stage and as I said in the video, if our sources tell us anything could fire, you can bet we'll be on top of it as soon as we know about it.

Another dud Nitso.

I blame Al Gore.

He must be hoarding all my "Increased Cyclones caused by CAGW" or something.

What a joke.

Sigh I want my weekly cyclones.

LLCC still not getting a lot of organisation together. heavy convective rain still well displaced from the centre.
LLCC evident on Willis Island radar and moving steadily ESE as forecast.

Is the wind because the low is moving south further. I did hear them mention on news that the northern side was getting windy conditions earlier on? If so, how strong do you think they will get, keeping in mind I'm in a caravan with the awning up and we are getting quite strong gusts at the moment, not tree bending yet though.

Just noticed that airport is showing gusts of 33km but we know the mountains around different areas can drastically increase the wind.
