12.6 and a new storm warning issued to include Emerald - although it doesn't look like much left behind it.

As expected the storms are dying off as they approach the Dryhampton area. It's not even worth think of getting the camera & tripod out, there is no lightning within cooee of Dust-Bowl city. I wana life somewhere else #@$%, the weather here drives me bonkers.

17mm out at Little Farm Rd, gusts would have been every bit 60km/h. Few branches down

Once the storms got to you all they surely picked up speed. That small storm I was watching at Biloela has turned into a doozy..........Big heavy dark thick clouds forming here now, ground has just dried out so it only makes sense that we'll get some rain.....

Kymm, just heard on the ABC re Mitchell, Facebook - RecoverMitchell (one word) details on making monetry donations that will stay in the town. Like you, I am hesitant to donate to organisations where I dont know where it will go and not keen on the Premiers fund anymore.

yeah dragic, good chance you will, I might just get the outside light stuff. Seems to be loosing the intensity. Lots of cloud lightning to the SE of me, can hear the thunder.

As well as donating to a local charity (when I find one) I will also be donating to the Salvation Army. Anyone who is hesitant, please have confidence in the salvos. I have 100% assure you that everyone in need, will receive assistance from the salvos. I know from my own personal experience, when the Premiers Disaster Fund let us down round after round, the Salvo's where there to provide all types of support. I also kept receiving phone calls, probably every 8-10 weeks for the entire 2011 asking how we were going financially, mentally, physically etc. For the record, I am in no way associated with the Salvation Army - but after all their help I feel the least I can do is tell people, they really do help.

I have had help from the salvo's as well kym, and donate to them without second guessing for sure. Salvo's and Red Cross are angels. When I was first diagnosed with cancer they helped me keep my family together (mentally, emotionally, financially) no questions asked. Great people. And I'm not associated in any way with them either, just telling my side of the coin.

Wow, 74 km an hour wind gusts in Rocky ! temp dropped to 23 deg humidity 98 percent. I think we will get something Sandfly, already 0.2mm more in Rocky than here.
