The initial few stones were very isolated, no idea the size, but one that smacked the right side of my windscreen was slightly larger than golfball. I thought I was going to lose the windscreen with that one.

The problem is I haven't had much experience with large hail so I'm the last person to judge sizes.
Tomorrow night I'll post some video up from Friday afternoons storms, including a huge storm near Braidwood and the extremly high quality cgs near St Georges Basin. The timelapse was very brief on the Bradiwood storm but probrably my best of the season.Might throw up a clip from Sunday as well, but it was a day where I witnessed plenty of good lightning but it eluded my video camera.

Issued at 1:41 pm Wednesday, 22 February 2012.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds and large hailstones in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Tibooburra, Wanaaring, Goodooga, Enngonia, Barringun and Fords Bridge.

Beautiful Michael!!! Awesome storm and brilliantly captured. I also love the commentary on it, quite educational at times as in what to look for in storms (inflow and outflow) and how to determine whether it is weakening or strengthening before the radar shows it!

Wind gusts reaching 59 knots were reported at Griffith.

When are we getting a new thread? Went from 21o @ 6pm to 13o at 7pm. Increasing southerly winds, fine rain and loads of rumbles.

 Hi Michael, I realise this was a week ago, but this was my view of the storm you were chasing of Feb 19. I was in East Bowral looking roughly NE about 7pm. At the same time I was noticing some action coming up from the SW. Unfortunately I didn't get a shot of that though.
