I am with you on this one, I can see cloud blob on satellite and I can visually see it starting to fill the sky on seaward side, this may be an interesting thing indeed in a few hrs.

Of course there is no forecast of such a thing happening .....

Is this Coral Sea Trough still meant to give good rain to my area or will it track further north ?

I see the marine forecast of 20/25 knots by Wednesday afternoon. Is that giving away a hint.

Well just got the boys out to mow the lawn just in case those storms out at sea come Bowen way. Nice and breezy here today.

Both EC and BOM now have the low crossing near Hervey Bay overnight hanging around for a day or so before tracking back up the coast to be off the CQ coast on Thursday morning before washing out. The main difference seems to be that BoM is going for Rain at times on Wednesday and Rain easing on Thursday but EC shows almost no rain on the coast at all.

EC forecast for 4am Thursday from 4th Mar 00Z run.

We were lucky enough to be under some of the showers that were around on the weekend, got 8mm on both Saturday and Sunday. That kind of weather is going to keep me and my lawn mower very busy.

Yep, the standard WZ forecast on a Monday is for pouring rain on Friday's - which hardly ever happens. Poor modelling

Well it was looking like towards the end of this week would be very wet for most of us...but this low over SEQ and a possible ECL further south will most likely kill our chance for something big like models were predicting (once again!!).

Just walked down Main street Prossy, and it is HOT. Also, there are some beastly looking black clouds to the east. Radar shows that too with some heavy showers towards Conway. Heard of some reports of 40mm around our area for the 24 hours. I've had zip. Grass is growing a couple of cm per day I reckon.

I got no doubt it is a stinker but I think 30.3C dewpoint is very likely to be higher than what it actually is.
