Just a trace here in Rasmussen. Call it 0.1mm. Not even going to bother recording it. More like a heavy dew on the grass than anything else. Rasmussen weather is showing 2mm but that much didn't fall here.

Matthew T. If you want to see tropical misty rain and drizzle head up to the Atherton Tableand and spend a night in the rainforrest camping. And take some jumpers because it can get pretty cold up there.

Driving to and from work , the beach to Ingham yesterday ,avoiding the pot holes the, pouring rain , water over the road , the flooded sections , FANTASTIC I was smiling all the way there and back . (only slightly apprehensive my little car may conk out in the water!) Funny thing though check my Nylex here at the beach this morning (all of 28ks from Ingham) and it has a whole 13mm in it !

Just booked tickets to the Cowboys game on Saterday avo-evening, driving from Mackay back home over the weekend so you can bet on rain and thunderstorms for Saterday avo - evening in Townsville. LOL

Only 5.5mm here overnight to 8.30am. At least today I've managed to get the washing on the line dry that's been there all week smile

Hi all.

Beautiful sunny day up here in the Towers.....again !

It seems the rain predicted for the weekend may be heading further south. We will have to wait for the trough to the west to move through the region mid next week.

Lot of talk lately about a CS low forming and moving in, but at the moment I can't see it. Remember I am blind. This Feb was a better one than last year for us thanks to a big drop early in the month. March might be harder to top as we need in excess of 220mm. So lets hope this apparent low does head our way.

CHOOKIE, Happy Birthday !!

any photos anyone??

I recorded driving through the floods south of Ingham while they were letting trucks and 4WDs through on my ipod.
I'll see if I can youtube it tomorrow.
They told regular cars to turn back and that the road would close within an hour, that was back at about 16:30 Wednesday.

What a pain. The footage is 487meg and I can get every other file off my ipod except the one I want. It goes for over 6 minutes so there was a lot of water to drive through.
I won't give up trying!!!
Anyone got any clues how I can get it off and on to a PC or MAC?
