Someone early mentioned the timing was bad???... not sure who it was too busy to look back through the posts but timing could not be better!! Still not a drop here, bit of thunder to the east bugger all in it really, that stuff about to cross YP in front of the Trough is the juicy & the main course!.. for those who missed the entre including me hunger pains will soon disappear I did mate because the truth of the matter is, it isn't good timing at all! Good timing for peak storms and moreso peak PHOTOGRAPHY opportunities is sunset onwards. But it's good timing for afternoon stuff for sure. Got nailed at TTP with that late lil red core with intense winds, huge drops, pea sized hail and some big close bolts. Observed more storms earlier further south with good bolts too. Main line still to come, I leave for airport at 8pm so that ain't good timing either! But should see something before that. Classic mid level thundery day today. Much like Jan 3rd 2005 for those that remember. TS

Had a little rain, 1.8 mm and some thunder this arvo at home. Cats are in hiding, one is under the kitchen table and don't know where the other one is.
As of 4:00 PM it is looking quite dark to the west.

Yeah stick around StarGate. I'm no weather expert, but I still have a go. I'm often wrong but it's fun! You can get access to plenty of stuff without money also

Jeez, wind has just smashed into us here out of nowhere!! No storms or anything in the near vicinity, just gusty gusty winds! Is this some sort of outflow wind or something? (Don't laugh at me if I'm completely wrong ) Anyway, this arvo in town was very interesting. I was in a tute in the top story of the new UniSA building on North Terrace so I was able to watch it all roll in and watched as a massive flang crashed into the train control building a couple of hundred metres away, which took out all the trains. The rain was being blown in sideways from the wind and there was a decent amount of 1cm or so hail.
