Too far away and too dull for me to see rotation clearly if there was, I'm afraid, paisley.

Happy Bday Weather Guru smile you got the best birthday present.

Where abouts did you guys see the rotation? About quarter to six I saw some pretty strange rotation as the guster passed over.

Nice one split that must have been about a km away. I like your photo max, what causes the dust to do that? Was it under a storm?

Went over some of the video I took down the beach and will upload some later. Put my camera down or panned away from the best CG's but still caught 4-5 and some CCs.

Back building right back to Cowell with nocturnal convection kicking in hours & hours to go yet, as more lightning strikes kick up on the new nocturnal convection!

@Chris.

I could see some interesting rotation at about 5.35 looking toward the hills from pultney street. Not on a small scale, but clouds going one way and some going the other. very messy looking.

Photo below shows guster passing over earlier tonight, clouds didn't know which way to move, it was like a washing machine up there!

Yep that would be a perfect spot, even though in the last 10 mins its more CC but they are really lighting up the rain curtains !

Thanks for sharing images/footage people.

Here are a few straight from the camera, taken from near Mallala when the gust front came over. Note the strange lowering in the 4th shot

Hopefully get some lightning shots as the next stuff gets closer

Hi all,
It's not often I pop up. Chris and I were sitting at windy point watching the storm roll in. It was going off in all directions aaah it was bliss and we were in heaven. Then all of a sudden there was an almighty bang and a great CG less than a km away, I had to check my undies it was that close. Then we got swallowed by rain. The CG would have been brilliant if we had caught it.
Hope every one enjoys this one... who knows how long we will have to wait til the next one!
Cheers Hayley
