Big damage around Domain central area. Trees down around bayswater, debris on road. Skip bins blown around along Dalrymple. Key motors shade sails all down. Palm trees ripped clean off at ground level.

Brandon and Ayr area has had between 180-230mm since 9am yesterday. Home Hill has laregly missed out with having less than 100mm.

cant believe schools are open, how dangerous is that. Traffic lights are out around town roads are blocked and flooded and yet they have made the decision to send kids to school. Go figure!!!!!!!

Wow morning everyone...I knew I should of empties my rain gaige last night before I went to bed. Was full to the brim so now I can't be sure how much I got.
Anyway can't see too much damage around Douglas area. some small branches etc on the ground and still have power!
Be safe on the roads everyone. I don't think i'll venture out to far today myself.

157.5mm here. Horrendously windy at about 5am this morning, peak wind gust at the AP was 111km/h!

The SWW mentions that we may see more winds like that later on as the low gets closer...
