EDIT: Wow RD , we have had a few big logs come down our creek and get a bit stuck, I've been getting in as the water comes up and helping them around our bend and into the next straight , now we just need a big flush to move them right away.. lol ..Your place is looking so good , even with a puddle

So far 27mm for today (included in above total). Some brief heavy showers during today with more on the way tonight.

Had my stormwater drain cleared out this afternoon by a plumber using a jet sprayer- very effective and fast. The drain were overflowing during the down pours- no more.

Nice totals around. We had 54mm 24hrs till 6am this morning. Just had a terrific down pour but stopped very suddenly - haven't checked gauge yet. Was lovely watching light show last night.


I think guy on win news (not Burnsie) said we've had the driest summer in six years and mentioned something about expected cyclones to come. Couldn't hear him because rain was/is making too much noise :-) loven it....

P.s. don't think radar is showing correctly our rain fall at the moment

395mm for Feb so far. Far better than January's effort and very close to average. Also considerably better than the airport. I take my readings as per my station which means until midnight just incase anyone is thinking of jumping on me about the 9.00am BoM time

I'll take an early guess at 600mm for March. I think the next two months will get our season well and truly back on track.

Was woken a few times with heavy downpours last night. 51mm in gauge for 24hrs till 6am this morning with most of that falling over night.

100mm last 24 hours, and just like Watchen, most overnight. Might have to start baking my own bread, some flooding predicted.

41mm till 6.30am this morning, most fell yesterday afternoon. Our Feb total was just shy of avg. with 425mm.

97mm here this morning , I thought there would be a bit more than that by the intensity of some of the showers through the night ...

Yes Dropbear , and driveway repair season is in full swing , lol
