Is the Bruce highway at the big roundabout expected to be cut off from this flooding or is that part unaffected?

The flood peak for the mighty Fitzroy has been revised down today from 7.7mtrs to 7.5mtrs. This will keep the water a metre under the highway Kaz.





I concur Sandfly adding it will be well on the dry side too

Dry season not here just yet for here, still some rain on the radar. Min temps forecast to be 20 deg every day and humidity quite bearable .

It was so cool and crisp here this morning, just lovely, I had a little light jumper on, had all the windows open on the house. It is so refreshing to not have the air con going. I know there are a lot of those cyclone guys who feel the season has been a dud, but I think it's been a pretty good season all around. Enough action to keep us excited as usual. My prediction is for an earlier winter with some nice cold temps. Am looking forward to it.

Well at this time of the year it's time for me to say bye-bye until storm season starts again. So talk then (unless something big happens weatherwise - highly unlikely).

Oh sandfly we will miss your unique sense of humor over winter. It's sounding like the diehards will just be left.

I think Yeppoon and Rocky will have a below average April despite the predictions for the next few months being above average rainfall.

I think Yeppoon will see 2 days of 17 deg in winter.

Awwwe, Thanks Willow. We love it! Never get tired of looking at the spillway overflowing, even if it does give people in town the "jitters" LOL!! Did you catch anything??

The lady on abc news tonight said we still have a 50-70 percent chance of above average rain until the end of May, so perhaps we shouldn't be to cocky yet.

Warm weather aint over yet. Next week Yeppoon is forecast to hit 30 deg on Tuesday and 31 deg on Wednesday, however the night temp is 19 deg and the humidity is forecast to be around 50 percent so not a stinking hot humid day.

Weather is really nice at the moment. I haven't had to turn on my a/c at home or work all week!

Willow - the Dam is such a pretty sight. Even with all the heartache she brings, its hard not to love the old girl

Definately a nice cool change in the mornings now. Just debating whether or not to back my dressing gown as we head of camping shortly to Agnes is always crisp in the mornings usually about this time of year.

Oh and bridge is open again - yay

Kaz, the roads are open but please be careful. Not sure if they are all fixed yet up that way.

I am loving the cooler weather.
