Just clocked 100ml for the last two days. Pity, I had gotten pretty settled with the beautiful weather over Easter.

This trough has some puff... BoM warning of squalls up to 93kph (40 per cent warnings on top of that as a fudge factor).
Coming back from Port Douglas this evening.... some sizeable trees sheared.
I would expect we are in for a good 200mm or more over the weekend.

Hi there can anyone give me some slightly accurate prediction if the rain that has been forecast for the past few days is coming? We once again have a pool shell to dig and don't want to be caught in a wet wet situation if at all avoidable. The weather bureau when consulted seem very vague to say the least. (Guess they have to be when things are so unpredictable) but we need to re book machinery and the logistics can me tricky. Any input would be greatly appreciated. The dig is on the beaches area.I won't hold you to ransom as this is a site for amateurs but I do have to say that more times than not your predictions are pretty spot on.

HEEEELP!!!!!!!!

Rookie, I hate say this but after looking through the models, winds and forecasts as well as the status of that upper high/trough on CIMNS, I'm reckoning this is going to last at least all of the working week. Intensities will vary and there will be breaks, but the ground is going to be sodden. It should clear up over the weekend but I wouldn't rely on it.
