It wasn't as cold here however, the "feel like " temp was 15.8 deg this morning even though it was 18 deg.

It was quite funny last night, we all went to bed late last night due to guests coming over. The noise travels a bit in this house due to wind. I heard my mum say to my dad last night "I'm not sleeping with the fan on love" .

20.8 currently with a feels like temp of just 18 deg. Not cold for me though .

Looking at the 12.05pm figures...

The "feels like" temps currently are

Yeppoon - 22.2 deg
Rocky - 23.8 deg
Emerald 20.9 deg
Moranbah 19.5 deg

Quite "cool" but as I said before, not cold for me . I think if it was less than 16 deg during the day here I would find it "cold".

Very windy at the moment which of course isn't unusual for Yeppoon. Wind gust picked up quite a bit earlier and something outside in someones backyard crashed and made a lot of noise .

Cool on etown again tonight. Have started covering my birds up at night. Sudden temp drops like this always make us lose a bird or 2 every year. Much colder and I start to bring them inside of a night.
Hope all is well with everyone!

It only felt like at the highest, 21 deg today, actual temp was 25 deg.
Rocky was 28 but at the highest felt like 22 deg.

A few sprinkles this evening, Yeppoon 0.6mm. Always seems to be the case just after I water parts of the garden , it rains at night. Had a lot of sand blocking the smaller pop up sprinklers, pulled them apart washed it out put it back together again . First time didn't get it in right and a big fountain of water went up and over the neighbours fence. Got it working and the pressure difference is amazing.

The wind is starting to get really annoying, open the window just slightly and anything loose goes flying. It has been the gusts that are strong, yesterday it was gusting to 50km/hr for quite a few hours. I know it has been windy like this in summer but I don't think it was as strong.

A couple of models are showing some sort of shower activity on Monday here.

Thanks kymm! Just a waiting game now as most of the job transfers only offer camp accommodation, just a tad cosy for 2 adults and 4 kids haha. After 33 years here a change MAY be as good as a holiday. Not looking forward to the possibility of the family having to live apart though. Another win for FIFO/DIDO.

23.8 deg today felt like 22 deg or less during the day almost felt cold with the breeze. 1.2mm of rain.

I wish it would rain overnight and clear early morning to a fine clear sunny day, not grey overcast clearing in the evening.

Not good at all SA 1300 plus workers moved from a town is really going to hurt, plus the uncertainty of what is going to happen. Will keep you in my thoughts and I hope things work out for you and your family.

I am enjoying these cooler nights, it's just a shame I can't open our bedroom window to sleep with out air con, as our neighbours sit up out on their patio smoking until near midnight. I can't wait to move out to our block with no neighbours and will be able to appreciate the weather some more. Rant over.

Sounds like the neighbours behind us Maclaw, except they are on the lounge side of the house and away from our bedrooms.
It certainly is unfortunate that some people are so unaware or indifferent to the fact that they are disturbing others.

We have to contend with their loud music and parties as well Kaz, and it's annoying when hubby has to get up at 4 am to go to work, but they just don't care.

Sounds like our old house in Perth. My parents bathroom window where the cool breeze (Fremantle Doctor) came through couldn't be opened because it backed out on the patio of the neighbours. They didn't smoke but they would sit outside talking most nights in summer in Polish. Here in Mulambin, although the blocks are bigger (1000-1250sqm) we can only just see into their kitchen (but it is a fair distance away).

Maclaw - What about ceiling fans ? Or do you have another window ?

The wind is starting to get annoying, somehow it seemed different in summer , perhaps it was from another direction . Blinds start flapping, papers flying off the fridge. Temp dropping 0.5 deg in 10 minutes inside. I don't recall the breeze in Perth ever this strong.

Another dreary overcast day with a bit of sun thrown in for a small amount of time. So far I have 7.5 mm in the gauge from the past few days. I wouldn't mind some clear sunny days . The temps are about right here. Have heard the most pleasant weather here is May- September.

Humidity and dew points were high today however, it felt cool with wind 25.4 deg today, min 18.7deg.

Only 1 window Vinnie and it faces west, it's an awful position. Won't be long and we will be moving, and won't have to worry.
