Been watching that, just SW of Hillsboro Kansas... wink Looks nice on a couple of chaser cams.

Isn't that where Cylve and Jane have bought a house ?

Yes. Cell been changed to STW for the moment, the trajectory line on GL3 is right through Hillsboro

I was watching the live chases on http://www.chaserstv.com and suddenly saw one of the many chasers bag this solid tornado just then! So I took some screenshots:

That storm SW of Wichita is insane isnt Dean? According to NWS, AT 842 PM CDT...A CONFIRMED LARGE AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TORNADO
WAS LOCATED NEAR MANCHESTER...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH.

Its dark now too, pretty dangerous situation.

Amazing day with so many cells standing alone, I am "virtually" knackered, ha ha. We started the day in Wichita in virtual world, should have stayed there but I reckon if I am honest I would have got sucked North and West and would be out around Hays, Great Bend area now after crossing border earlier today....

Yeah and with all that clean moist air and insane shear it will keep going watch out S Wichita there is just nothing to stop it.

I think i would have stayed in S KS but you right might have followed stuff to N ks before racing back south.
Time and Time again though last few years big set ups in OK go very late but are impressive, its hard not to get sucked away but thought north stuff that went early got messy quick while Second later round in Ks OK went off all sups very quickly and so wonderfully isolated ALL DAY and night.

GR looking amazing on that okie cell still going strong amazing hook and shear

Wichita may get a direct hit from the tornadic supercell that's heading towards the area. It's still a while away, but if the tornado remains on the ground, I think loss of life is a given...
