May not be worthy of a thread! Who knows, someone might get some decent? rain over the next week! Looks like a westerly flow off and on over the next week, with the passage of a number of fronts/troughs! Fingers crossed, straws at the ready!

Looks like some showers in that ragged band coming across. Been spotting lightly here for about ten minutes.
Current state forecast:
"Cloudy with the chance of isolated showers about western and southern coasts. Fine further north. Mild to warm with light to moderate northeast to northwest winds, freshening during the morning."

Aviation sums it up better....
ISOLATED SHOWERS South OF Port Neill/Adelaide/Mt Gambier, AND ISOLATED SHOWERS FROM MIDDLE
LEVEL CLOUD MOSTLY NOT REACHING THE GROUND ELSEWHERE.

Lucky to see 1mm anywhere I think today.

Better chance on Friday.

Say Tim,,,, I HAVE THIS HAT,,, could be tasty poke
1 mm + i'd say by the look of things,,, i'd be nervous smile
Hats might be tastier with a dolop of sauce or maybe tossed salad with ranch dressing smile
(don't forget the croutons)... Then again i could be wrong and end up with a leather hat myself.

not nervous at all.
Have you had a look at the obs John? The only places to crack 1mm are Pt Lincoln, Coles Pt, and Neptune Is.

Some nice warm May air on the way by the looks. Nullarbor 29C today and Ceduna 26C even.
BOM have 23C tomorrow and 26C on Tuesday for us.... smile
Followed by a couple of mild & cloudy days on Wed-Thurs.
A decent front finally makes it through Friday,as long as it holds by then.

Rain is rain and it's raining very lightly here at Payneham with the radar showing white ie the lightest on the scale, so at least here I think the radar is pretty accurate at present smile

Classic warm front but not much moisture to go with, raining here for last hour for asbout 0.4mm so far, but 1-2mm looks getable by the end!

2.2mm and steady light to almost moderate rain 5 to 7mm may be quite getable yet!

What a waste of a good hat! Give him an old and smelly one for heaven's sake. See if you can find one in the dog kennel poke

"Classic warm front" - that's interesting Ian - would be pretty uncommon for SA I would think.

Hmmmm appears Mr Teckert has hidden under a much larger hat wink...

I must say I am impressed with the rain totals so far as i would have said SFA chance of that given the totals out west earlier, not complaining at all...

I doubt that front will hold Friday given the High's are still pushing them south before they stand up, we'll see...
