What is up with the font size and bolding changes? Have you been hacked?

Seems like its something to do with 'wedding bells' forum. Very strange.

Just PMed BNE. Hopefully he can alert an admin to look into it.
I am using both Firefox and Internet Explorer 9 so it isn't a single browser problem.
Ran Avast Anti Virus as well as Spybot - nothing found yet.
Curiouser and curiouser said Alice.

Yes it is and the side bar ads are no longer working either, probably related. So every cloud has a silver lining. Lol. Satellite Images is working.

So it is a problem with the forum software and not at the our end.

Just confirmed that I haven't picked anything up from WZ by running Malwarebytes as well as Spybot.

All fixed - as soon as I heard from SBT (and from logging on myself) I spoke to Admin who were going to immediately look into it. Sure they will either post themselves as to what happened or let me know and I'll post it up here.

All the best

Kev

Matthew advised there was a pretty major issue this morning, I'll let him advise as to what happened in more detail.

There is a problem with the forum software which apparently allowed a link to an external script to be inserted into the page. A side effect of this was that the page's HTML became a bit messed up which is why the appearance of the forum changed slightly.

This was addressed earlier and we're in the process of applying the patch that has been made available by UBB.

I'm not sure what the script was. Anyone who viewed the forum this morning and noticed the different appearance would have been exposed but I expect a current browser and reasonably up to date virus software would have prevented anything untoward.

Yeah AVG continually 'blocked' the threat.

Or browse via Linux and you'll be apples.

It was a hack of the forum, nothing to do with what browser people used.

If the script was trying to download/execute a trojan etc than it would be harmful to your operating system. This is why Weatherzone forum has now been moved to my linux firefox browser for untrusted sites, web browsing.
