Miserable dirizzlage here on and off a couple of time this morning.
Enjoying it but it has halted the last bit of work on Mrs Next Doors shed -oh and I also blew up my hammer drill - I believe the sound was Bzzt, bzzt, pop, sizzle, smoke hot. With the odd crow call thrown in as well as it got thrown out the door. Meh it was 5 years old and had been flogged but still it frightened the bejezus out of me when it went off.

It's lovely light rain here at the moment. It was quite cool when I got out of the car at home after being at Castletown this morning. My ducks are standing out in the rain with their faces raised to the sky - I think they are happy, but the chooks are not impressed.

Yes well thats fine with me mitasol, because without someone to play against it would be a bit boring now wouldn't it? Bit like World Series Baseball when your only playing against your own country. Windy again this arvo. Weird weather, sprinkling along Riverwar drive until just short of the Willows - look over at Mt Stuart and the damn thing is almost blotted out by a rain curtain and 15 seconds later it is gone. Oh well if it didn't change we would be train spotting or something else as silly.

Not a zot here unfortunately Joc.
Nice day, cool again this morning and some dew on the lawns but no wind which is a very pleasant change.

Not a zot here unfortunately Joc. Well after the rain yesterday I was expecting more than .5mm, goes to show you really need a rain gauge. I thought you had got some rain as well SBT?.... or did yours evaporate like mine....I did find a dead gecko in there, looked fresh, maybe it drank the other .5mm.........

It barely wet the insides of the Nylex and wasn't enough to run into the bottom. Just sprinkles on and off is all I got. 10 secoinds here 5 seconds there sort of thing. Shed roof is screwed down, dyna bolts and brackets installed and shed bolted to the brackets, mowed the lawns, got my domestic god hat on and vacuumed, dusted etc while Mrs SBT was at work and fixed a clients computer as well. 21st birthday party for my youngest son tonight so I have had a pretty full on day so far - looking forward to a couple of rumbos tonight though

Happy Mothers day all the mothers in here Have a good trip Trav.. Could someone please order a week of rain so I can keep the sprinklers off this week. Damn landlady expects that since we have bore water for gardens they should always be perfect, but she doesn't have the pump on a tariff so its cheaper on electricity

Nice night, just family at the party due to Uni workload. He is going to have a bit of a birthday bash after the next exams. Yes had a few rumbos - had to have a nanna nap after dinner though - plum worn out I was.
By the time I hit the sack last night the smell of smoke wafting along Ross River was pretty strong. No rain of course.

Damn landlady expects that since we have bore water for gardens they should always be perfect, but she doesn't have the pump on a tariff so its cheaper on electricity Noticed your post. We have a sand spear (shallow bore) and I am sure the electricity (which is on Tariff 11 - Normal ) is not that much - pump uses max 912watts, but I doubt it uses that much either. More like 700-750 watts which is 15c ? an hour to run .
