10mm since 9.00am yesterday - bugger off until next week or the bride will be wearing a set of gum boots on saturday.
Mind you my garden and lawns are lapping it up.

I wonder if this will play into my theory of producing a better storm season.....Although a bit too soon this rain needs to come in September

Monthly total 56mm ( highest june total since 2007 )

Wow, dew point reached 21C now. Feels so muggy.
Could be a very warm night for late June.

Morning all.
Lovely foggy morning up here in beautiful CT. The drizzle has been nice but barely wet anything. I would say some cooler nights ahead for the Townsville hinterland.
A BIG HAPPY B'DAY to THOMO ! Have a great day mate. You are only as old as you feel.

Happy birthday Thomo!!! Another year older...[insert some wisdom here]. Weatherwise, I like it better with the cloud around, not looking forward to a return to below 15 minimums again... *sighs* ...almost storm season.... or atleast I can remain hopeful!

happy birthday thomo, hope you had a good day mate.
just a bit of light drizzle coming in late this arvo. such a warm and humid day compared to the rest of june. just been playing sport at rsl stadium, we have to play badminton with the air con off, but it was like summer!
anyway, just half a mm here, up to about 40mm for the month, something like that. need to stop being lazy and update the totals.

Some very very cold mornings coming Townsvilles way next week. Well all of Queensland will feel the cold. Could possibly be the coldest mornings of our dry season.
Expecting Townsville to get down to 7-8c

29 hours to wedding - plans are now set in concrete. If it rains tomorrow we will have a wet bride but no other venue will suffice. She adamant that she gets married in the park come hell or high water. It does though appear that I have to give a speech, meh I will just cuff it, again. Worked out pretty good every other time I have had to give one so I'm not going to go overboard and write one this time either. Course the odd rumbo doesn't hurt either.
