Aussie just for future reference its probably easier if we post in the day to day thread since this is for a different event. Cause theres some discussion here and then if its here aswell it just looks messy.

That is one impressive cold front surging north into Melbourne from the Bass Strait and Tasmania... any minute it'll start raining here!  Good thing my family and I went out and about today... initially we were gonna head for Eltham but instead took a drive around the Dandenongs, hovered around 13C for much of the day and most of the showers held off until around 3:30PM

Reflecting on the performance of the models these days.... This is how things panned out late this morning:  ... and this is what GFS predicted would set up this outcome 7 days ago...  The models are getting very skillfull eh?
