Hi everyone!
Firstly, apologies for the late notice, but we have arranged a visit to the Bureau observer office at the Airport, as well as their main office in the city, next weekend on Saturday June 16. Following the tour of the offices, we’ll have a BBQ at Captain Burke Park which gives views of the city and the river while catching up with everyone.
We will have a limit of around 15-20 people that we can take on the tour (strict limit of 20) so make sure you get in quick!
Details:Stop 1: Brisbane Airport Observer Office
Time: 10am
Location: Off Pandanus Ave, near Myrtletown on the eastern side of the airport.
Coming from the north, take the Old Gateway to access Airport Drive, from there you can get onto Lomandra Drive and up to the Observer Office from there.
Coming from the south, take the Kingsford Smith Drive exit just after the Old Gateway exit, and from there it becomes Eagle Farm Rd and heads up to the Observer Office.
Of course if you’re coming from the city, westside or other parts of the northside, Lomandra Drive/Airport Drive or Kingsford Smith Drive are the key roads you’re looking for here.
