End of the month is what I heard today.

102.3mm all up here.

Usually it's Cairns that gets more then us, the other way around for a change. All the creeks and rivers are running fairly well between here and Cairns.

OCF forecasting 12mm today and Thursday 13mm, poor Melbourne tourists on Maggie, in fact poor Maggie business' are struggling and yesterdays events won't see the $ numbers increase because no one wants to go out and eat alfresco ,however there were a few brave souls in the water yesterday arvo when the rains finally stopped but the forecasts don't look too great for the rest of the school hol for Melbourne.

Morning all! Wow what a wet couple of days - talk about unusual!

I ended up with 113mm from the event, 16.8mm since 9am yesterday, and 96.2mm in the 24 hours prior to that.

I can see blue sky this morning - back to our glorious NQ winter weather now smile

Wouldn't be surprised if we see the forecasts get upgraded for the weekend in the next few udpates...gfs still very insistent on bring rain back, EC shows signs of it and latest access short term model has rain inland of us for Friday which I assume could come towards us for Saturday. Maybe the case of watch this space again? poke

Another thing to note is the amount of moisture still in the air, 17c dp's are very good and moisture levels should stay high over the coming days.

Forcast upgraded to showers and rain all week.

They couldn't ignore EC for another day. Especially after it nailed the last heavy rain event.
