26mm for the event. Another good result, another month where average rainfall is achieved. I am getting concerned with the heat however. 15.4c in the CBD on a day where all other AWS are reporting temps under 14c. It makes a mockery of the broken record for most consecutive days over 14c in July. No other AWS in the state achieved this. Temps on the 10th and 12th of July are questionable at best when comparing to other sites as or around a similar height (ASL)
The Bureau needs to either re-locate the CBD AWS or take an average temp of CBD/Essendon Airport and other stations at or around the same height (ASL). Boasting about temps above a certain amount in a micro-climate is foolish yet accepted by the lemmings.
