This is getting silly now. They have a max of about 17.7 degrees for Sunday when the day before at about 3pm was about 10, nowhere around here got over about 7 or 8 degrees on Sunday.

A number of previous days have what appears to be unusual rain readings, temp readings etc. And of course almost every weekend the readings are not put in until Monday or Tusday. The last two weekends are basically blank holes in the fields.

I know it's not a weatherzone problem but boy it's annoying. I looked on the BOM site but couldn't see a good link to reporting this sort of problem - any thoughts?

Ag Station in my mind has been untrustworthy for a while now (all this year) I've seen too many occasions when the readings seem too far off.

Looks like the observer shot through for the weekend. The 17.7 would be for the 72 hours to 9am Monday, and no doubt occurred on Friday.

Yes there's been a bit of this going on now for a few months. I can check the Airport but the official stats are the Ag Station and I don't believe they are necessarily as accurate as desired on occasions.

Rainfall observations have made no sense on a few dates as well. Just frustrating to those that think accurate stats are worthwile. smile

Well I'm absolutely flabbergasted - it's after 9am on a SATURDAY morning and we have a temp reading from the ag station - blow me over with a feather - We actually run the risk of having weather in Bathurst on a weekend. Well wonder will never cease. Hallelujah.
